12 Million Divided By Thirty-Eight
We already know that when dignitaries do not put the well being of our communities as a priority, we must do it ourselves. Job creation, President Obama’s mantra, —or the reassurance to the American Public that this current hard economical times will pass as soon as we get a statistician declaring that X amounts of jobs have been created for that fiscal quarter—will not prevent the exploitation of un-unionized workers, or will bring direct relief for working families from losing their homes, or food to the table of families who are going hungry.
The rebuilding and recovery of the Country can become a reality if 12 million plus people are able to come from under the shadows and use their monetary power (more) freely, their civil contribution to the Country, and their labor in a more dignifying and efficient way. For this reason our work for full legalization is more critical today than ever.
